ATT DNS issue and

On August 26, 2014 AT&T stopped (firewalled) all intermesh DNS request traffic to its DNS servers from outside the ATT network. All inbound traffic from all ISP carriers destined to use DNS servers and will be denied.
There for, all network equipment using ATT DNS servers and outside the AT&T network, must be assigned new DNS entries.
There is a non-public internal ATT email memo confirming this information. The memo did not detail any reasons for this change. No media information was or has been released.

How this might impact your business. Static DNS entries, such as credit card or ATM machines, may need to be revisited. This is only an example.

Litecom uncovered and confirmed this issue 9/5/14.
